Being meticulous in life becomes your hologram. A lesson in looking at the small details of life.

One of the things I love about a Kundalini class is there is always a mini life lesson in each session.

Something to ponder over for the mind as we sink into bodywork.

Everyday now without fail I do some sort of meditation, breath work, chanting and movement and I get in a full Kundalini session in when I make the time in my schedule. .

I said to my coach “it’s a matter of life and death” and since I have viewed it like that it gets done with passion.

It may seem dramatic but to me it really is.

The daily practice helps me live a life that feels really good, really good in the small details of this life experience.

How I experience the seemingly unimportant events like walking on the street, buying something in a shop or seeing clothes not put away at home, (who else has that trigger!)

Truth be had, it is these details that make up the bulk of our life experience.

I truely feel such a profound difference from this daily practice, it enhances my life a little more everyday and I feel if I didn’t do it I wouldn’t have nowhere near the quality of life I have.

So in essence it is a matter of life or death.

Yesterday I was doing a class and it was spoke of about being meticulous in life and in essence how you do one thing is how you doing everything.

The small things become the hologram for how we do the big things.

She gave an example to look at a persons wallet how they store their money, how they interact with it, are they careful, tight, or are they free and messy and that will give you an indication of how they are with money on the big scale.

So it got me thinking about the details of my life like cleaning, washing, cooking, personal grooming, interactions with our door person, people at Myki’s nursery, people on the street…!

How was I approaching these things? Was I meticulous, and patient or did rush through with a she’ll be right attitude?

When I looked at the bigger things in life like working with clients, building a marketing plan, talking with Myki or preparing for acting class was I attempting to do these different to the the details of life?

But they were turning out the same?

Something to ponder.

When I started to look I noticed the battery on my phone or laptop would get down to 1% then I would try to rush everything in and only when it switches off I go and get the charger? Whats that about..?

Something to ponder.

It really is the small things in life that add up.

I feel I was so interested in achieving the big things for the experience in life that I believed it would give me that I rushed through the small things and missed the daily experience and taking care of the details of life with care and depth.

I am passing on this learning as I am sure there is someone who needs to read it and my hope is that they pass it on in their way as we all share knowledge on being human.
